I called Precision Garage Door on a whim after my garage door broke after another repair company did not respond to my voicemail. Precision Garage staff was was transparent about staff availability. Initially, no staff was available until the next day, but they contacted me again later indicated that someone could come the same day if it worked for me. Dylan contacted me in advance and informed me of his ETA. He provided a clear explanation of what happened and what needed to be fixed. He gave me 3 options for repair but he did not push back when I opted not to do anything beyond the safe and reliable repair. He did a great job and I am happy with the service. I appreciated a few things in particular. When Dylan realized that we didn't wear shoes in the house, he took the initiative to wear shoes covers when it was necessary to walk though the house to access the garage. I also appreciated being informed by text of his ETA so I could be make sure I wasn't in the middle of task that would be hard to step away from. I also appreciated being informed of the optional upgrades I could consider but simultaneously not receiving any pushback for not opting for any upgrades at this time. Dylan F. was the technician who fixed our garage door today. The initial problem is one of the two torsion springs had snapped, so the door was now too heavy for the opener to lift. Upon his inspection, Dylan showed me that the other spring was probably not far behind from breaking . So he recommended upgrading to better quality, longer lasting springs. He also installed a new torsion bar to replace our rusted out one, and two new hinges to fixed the cracked ones. It was more than my mental guesstimate to repair, but I'm glad now that he did all the work, as our door is opening/closing much smoother now, and is also much quieter. Plus he arrived on time, and did the whole job in less than an hour. Thanks Dylan !! You and Precision Garage Door are the best!
