Had a new keypad installed by Miles H who was absolutely thorough, courteous and knowledgeable. The only reason this isn’t a 5-star review is because the national call center gave an incorrect price quote and set my expectations well below the ultimate price. Miles caught this discrepancy before arriving and called me to alert me and give me the chance to cancel.

This rating is actually 4.5, as the doors - one double and one single - came out great! We also used Precision to try to repair our old garage doors, which ultimately just needed to be replaced. The only issue with the new doors was the time it took to get there, as we had a “special order” size, and it was difficult to determine if one of the standard colors fit our newly painted house. Some of the online renditions came out “orange” instead of tan, so we thought we’d have to go with a custom paint, but that would have added $2,000. Then, the install was delayed a week (after a month+ to receive the actual custom cut doors) when the installers had to leave early although they had scheduled a whole day to install (it took a couple dry runs to finish the job). But in the end, they came out perfect! Call out to Miles who helped us trying to repair our old doors, and Precision for ultimately completing the job well.

We got new rollers on our door, part lubrication, and a new light installed in the overhead mechanism. Our service technician, Miles, was excellent. I saw an ad on my local TV station that you were giving $25 lubrication and inspection specials. When I telephoned, I was told that it did not apply to my area. But I decided to go ahead and get a tuneup for $138. When Miles was doing that, he was very surprised that I had only one spring, and strongly suggested that I replace it with two new springs, which I did. He then did the tune up for free. He was very knowledgeable and nice.

I have tried two other garage door service companies over the last 4 years and both provided very poor service. I had seen the TV ads for Precision Door Services and decided to give them a try. I can share that I was extremely happy with them. First, they kept me completely informed of their arrival time and once they arrived they did a thorough analysis of my door and shared a number of issues that existed and both short term and long term needs. I was given a quote for the recommended work. The price was extremely fair and the work was done promptly and effectively... Things were fixed satisfactorily, but estimate for new garage door opener seemed expensive, so I called several other garage door companies. Most estimates were half of what you estimated for the exact same thing. Also a couple of places said that they would’ve charged half of what you charged me to fix the original problem. I’m happy with your service but disappointed with your prices.

Miles did an outstanding job. Analyzed the issues with the operation of the garage door and had the solutions. This was a garage door that was in the model home in a new development and had upgrades throughout the house except for the garage door which was provided the wrong size motor for the door. Miles installed a proper new motor with the correct springs for the heavy door. It is now safe and operating correctly. A real professional job.

Initial impression is 5-star. Quick response and came out to assess our situation on a Saturday. Professional, respectful, and helpful. No work has been done yet, the company is contacting my garage door manufacturer for specific parts. No estimate, but it was a relief to know we didn't need to replace the entire door, just some panels on the garage door.
