I returned home from vacation to find out that my garage door was not functioning properly. I researched the web and read all current reviews. I selected Precision based on these reviews. I set the appointment and received a call from the technician Russ Trumpy at 8 am advising he was on his way. Russ arrived and reviewed what the issue was, made up a quote and advised what he thought was the best fix. I agreed with Russ and the garage door is now working perfectly. The entire process was handled professionally and diagnosed properly and I wish to thank Russ Trumpy and Precision for a job done.

I called you because you helped me 10 years ago. This year, however, you were not in the Santa Barbara phone book, but I had your name in my files. Your work was fine 10 years ago, and fine today. The installer went out of his way to find out the problem and fix it. I had thought I needed new springs only, but it was a complicated incorrect first installation. Daniell (?) took the time and had the expertise to find out the problem - and I am very happy.

Problem of remotes turned out to be use of LED lights in the Garage Opener Unit which was diagnosed correctly by the technician. New springs were installed to make the door work properly. I give the technician 5 Stars.

Without a doubt, 5 stars! Russ did a great job repairing my garage door, which had jammed. It happened on a Saturday, and Russ responded quickly and was here when he said he would be and actually called to let me know he was on his way from the job he had just completed. My garage door was a bit of a mess and Russ skillfully and patiently restored it to better condition than before the problems developed. I appreciated his service oriented manner and how he explained everything he was doing. At my request, he also replaced all of my rollers as well. This is the second time Precision Garage Door has come to my rescue. The last time was a few years ago, when they showed up on Thanksgiving Day and repaired my garage door before a host of family were due to arrive. I heartily recommend them!

Because Russ was running behind on his appointments, Mike gave me a call and told me he would arrive within the next 10 minutes, which he did! He was VERY knowledgeable about my particular door and problem and explained all options in detail. My Martin garage door now has better (nylon) rollers, dual heavy-duty torsion springs, new cables, and side wheels with sealed bearings. It now runs more smoothly and more quietly, which puts less strain on my motor. Not only that, but it all has a lifetime guarantee!

5 Stars in all categories!! The spring in our 24 year old garage door failed. When I called Precision Garage Door of Simi Valley, they described what they would do and set up an appointment. Mike, the senior service technician arrived on time, assessed the problem, the cause and offered details for actions to fix the problem and assess best course of action with costs and benefits of each alternative. Mike was courteous, efficient, honest and knowledgeable and offered explanations for preventive maintenance. Mike did an outstanding job repairing our garage door and was very patient and courteous when i asked questions. I would call Precision Garage Door of Simi Valley again if I have a problem with our other garage door.

I highly recommend this company. Saturday morning I awoke to a loud "CRASH"- it was the spring on our 20-something year old garage door! I called two other local repair services, but both were booked until Monday. Meanwhile my car was trapped in the garage, the door far too heavy to lift. Luckily the next call I made was to Precision. Russ was prompt, courteous, and highly skilled; he discovered multiple problems with my old door, explained everything, and recommended Precision's rebuild special. I think the price was fair for the service provided, and now my garage door works beautifully. If/when the aging opener motor gives up I will know who to call.

We called for service at 4pm. The receptionist was very patient and accommodating in arranging for the technician to arrive sooner rather than later. Mike, the same technician who had repaired the garage door opener and door 2 years prior, arrived within a half hour. Unfortunatley , the opener could not be repaired this time and Mike had to install a new unit. Mike was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable, just as he had been the first time. Luis is a 5 star garage door installer. In about 2 hours time Luis had everything removed, tracks, doors, springs, opener and re-installed the new opener, door and everything that goes with it. 5 stars. Mike arrived on time, explained our problem to my satisfaction, expeditiously replaced 3 overhead horizontal springs, including the one broken in two pieces (12 years of service, so, good use of my original door). Prophylactically replaced the still operational 12 year old spring on my third door (a single garage door) with recommended bearings, all in less than 2 hours. Doors operate quieter than ever. Very satisfied.
