I called Precision Garage Door on a whim after my garage door broke after another repair company did not respond to my voicemail. Precision Garage staff was was transparent about staff availability. Initially, no staff was available until the next day, but they contacted me again later indicated that someone could come the same day if it worked for me. Dylan contacted me in advance and informed me of his ETA. He provided a clear explanation of what happened and what needed to be fixed. He gave me 3 options for repair but he did not push back when I opted not to do anything beyond the safe and reliable repair. He did a great job and I am happy with the service. I appreciated a few things in particular. When Dylan realized that we didn't wear shoes in the house, he took the initiative to wear shoes covers when it was necessary to walk though the house to access the garage. I also appreciated being informed by text of his ETA so I could be make sure I wasn't in the middle of task that would be hard to step away from. I also appreciated being informed of the optional upgrades I could consider but simultaneously not receiving any pushback for not opting for any upgrades at this time. Precision responded right away. Brandon arrived at the designated time, quickly determined what needed to be done (broken spring) and gave us three quotes for what was needed. Basically it was fix it, fix it better and really fix it. Since our doors were 20 years old we chose “really fix it”. Brandon did the work in a very short time. I saw an ad on my local TV station that you were giving $25 lubrication and inspection specials. When I telephoned, I was told that it did not apply to my area. But I decided to go ahead and get a tuneup for $138. When Miles was doing that, he was very surprised that I had only one spring, and strongly suggested that I replace it with two new springs, which I did. He then did the tune up for free. He was very knowledgeable and nice.
