5 Stars in all categories!! The spring in our 24 year old garage door failed. When I called Precision Garage Door of Simi Valley, they described what they would do and set up an appointment. Mike, the senior service technician arrived on time, assessed the problem, the cause and offered details for actions to fix the problem and assess best course of action with costs and benefits of each alternative. Mike was courteous, efficient, honest and knowledgeable and offered explanations for preventive maintenance. Mike did an outstanding job repairing our garage door and was very patient and courteous when i asked questions. I would call Precision Garage Door of Simi Valley again if I have a problem with our other garage door.

This was my first time using Precision. I had a fabulous experience and would highly recommend using them again. Mike, my technician, was very professional. He showed me possible reasons my door was closing with difficulty and gave me the option of what repairs I could make. I chose to take his recommendations. My door works like new!! And not only that, he gave me a report that explains all of his findings. Exactly what I needed for my records. I couldn't be more pleased.

I highly recommend this company. Saturday morning I awoke to a loud "CRASH"- it was the spring on our 20-something year old garage door! I called two other local repair services, but both were booked until Monday. Meanwhile my car was trapped in the garage, the door far too heavy to lift. Luckily the next call I made was to Precision. Russ was prompt, courteous, and highly skilled; he discovered multiple problems with my old door, explained everything, and recommended Precision's rebuild special. I think the price was fair for the service provided, and now my garage door works beautifully. If/when the aging opener motor gives up I will know who to call.

We called for service at 4pm. The receptionist was very patient and accommodating in arranging for the technician to arrive sooner rather than later. Mike, the same technician who had repaired the garage door opener and door 2 years prior, arrived within a half hour. Unfortunatley , the opener could not be repaired this time and Mike had to install a new unit. Mike was friendly, courteous and very knowledgeable, just as he had been the first time. We had every confidence that we were in good hands. He is trustworthy, reliable, and skilled in his trade. Our door was working within a few hours. Thank you for making the experience stress free!

Luis is a 5 star garage door installer. In about 2 hours time Luis had everything removed, tracks, doors, springs, opener and re-installed the new opener, door and everything that goes with it. He was efficient, tidy, friendly...I cannot think of any negatives. He's not only very likable but very, very skilled. Thank you, Luis, for doing such a great job.

The repair man, Daniel Radcliffe, showed up right on time, assesses the problem and installed a new garage door opener, wall remote and provided me with 2 new remotes. He also fixed the remote in my car in a very efficient manner. My door opener works great and is very quiet now. Good job.

Five stars for the quick response and excellent repair work by Russ on my off track door. However I am not happy about paying $225 for some thing I see as a design flaw in the door mechanism itself. The door came down on the back of the car (my fault) but instead of stopping it skewed the door which caused the cables to come off the pulley. The door is supposed to stop when it meets resistance not screw up the cables, twist the tracks and cost me a big bill. To whom may I address my complaint?

And this was despite the fact that he had been working a very long day. While I appreciated that the repair was accomplished the same day I called, I wish the office could have given me a better idea of when to expect Russ to arrived.

Scheduled an appointment, within a day Russ came out told be what I needed and was ready to do it on the spot ! Due to timing I couldn't do it but he came back the next morning and knocked it out in a couple hours ! I was vary impressed with the quality of work and customer service. I had a new motor installed and a door rebuild and couldn't be happier !!

Its saturday afternoon and i'm about to clean the garage. I hit the button and the door stops a few foot and it's all crooked. The slide lock was moved over so one side wouldn't budge. I tried fixing it but it got worse and the rollers were falling off. I keep my dogs in garage during cold weather so I needed it fixed quick. I called around but no one was interested or were sharks. I called Precision and said they would be out between 4-6. At 5:00 Russ shows up. Russ knows his stuff. Took him an hour and half but made me relieved. Thanks Precision for saving the day Randy
