I called Precision Garage Door on a whim after my garage door broke after another repair company did not respond to my voicemail. Precision Garage staff was was transparent about staff availability. Initially, no staff was available until the next day, but they contacted me again later indicated that someone could come the same day if it worked for me. Dylan contacted me in advance and informed me of his ETA. He provided a clear explanation of what happened and what needed to be fixed. He gave me 3 options for repair but he did not push back when I opted not to do anything beyond the safe and reliable repair. He did a great job and I am happy with the service. I appreciated a few things in particular. When Dylan realized that we didn't wear shoes in the house, he took the initiative to wear shoes covers when it was necessary to walk though the house to access the garage. I also appreciated being informed by text of his ETA so I could be make sure I wasn't in the middle of task that would be hard to step away from. I also appreciated being informed of the optional upgrades I could consider but simultaneously not receiving any pushback for not opting for any upgrades at this time. Precision responded right away. Brandon arrived at the designated time, quickly determined what needed to be done (broken spring) and gave us three quotes for what was needed. Basically it was fix it, fix it better and really fix it. Since our doors were 20 years old we chose “really fix it”. Brandon did the work in a very short time. He was very friendly but also very professional. We were very satisfied with the work.

This rating is actually 4.5, as the doors - one double and one single - came out great! We also used Precision to try to repair our old garage doors, which ultimately just needed to be replaced. The only issue with the new doors was the time it took to get there, as we had a “special order” size, and it was difficult to determine if one of the standard colors fit our newly painted house. Some of the online renditions came out “orange” instead of tan, so we thought we’d have to go with a custom paint, but that would have added $2,000. Then, the install was delayed a week (after a month+ to receive the actual custom cut doors) when the installers had to leave early although they had scheduled a whole day to install (it took a couple dry runs to finish the job). But in the end, they came out perfect! Call out to Miles who helped us trying to repair our old doors, and Precision for ultimately completing the job well.
